From the vehicles and clothing visible in the streets section I would estimate publication date to be 1940's. Previous owners signature and date (1948) to front free endpaper. Many of the pages are browned or foxed. However this is an extremely scarce book in its first edition and benefits from the presence of the early photographs which are all present as listed. Despite these defects this is a very attractively presented copy of a scarce title., 1721

The folding map, title page and the other folding plate all have an elaborate signature of a previous owner. There is some underlining and margin notes .
