The main areas of activity were: microlocal analysis of pseudodifferential operators and boundary value problems, spectral theory of differential operators, homogenization methods and various aspects of nonlinear problems in P.D.E. As a matter of fact, the nonlinear problems occupied a significant place among the topics discussed in numerous seminar lectures.
