Im Rahmen meines Ausstellungsprojekts A parasite showing"1 in Argentinien habe ich zum ersten Mal Arbeiten von Künstlern auf einem alten Lastkahn, den ich zu einem Galerieboot umbaute, gezeigt. Im Gegensatz zu dem temporären schwimmenden White Cube in Buenos Aires, findet die Ausstellung dieses Mal in einem fixen, historischen Ausstellungsraum in München statt. Wie in dem Ausstellungsprojekt in Buenos Aires ist jedoch auch bei dieser Ausstellung meine Intention, diverse künstlerische Positionen an einem Ort zusammen und verschiedene Arbeitsweisen miteinander ins Gespräch zu bringen und auch zu kontrastieren. Für manche der in Buenos Aires ausgestellten Künstler wird es ihre erste Ausstellung in Deutschland, für viele ihre erste Ausstellung in München sein. Ergänzt wird diese Gruppe durch drei Künstler, die erstmals in diesem Zusammenhang ihre Arbeiten präsentieren. Die Auswahl der künstlerischen Positionen ist nicht willkürlich und dennoch an eigene bisherige Kooperationen und Erfahrungen gebunden: Mich selbst interessiert besonders die Schnittstelle zwischen Künstler, Kurator und Vermittler. Künstlerische Produktion ist netzwerkartig, in Netzwerken bilden sich Ideen, Konzeptionen und Produktionsweisen. Und trotz allgemeiner Globalisierungstendenzen sind solche Netzwerke immer Knotenpunkte, in denen sich das eigene Produktionsvermögen verdichtet.
