Part III. A notice of the principal works extant on Literary History in general, and on Bibliography in particular. In this part is included a list of works on the history and art of printing, including a brief analysis of the authors hypotheses relative to the origin and invention of typography, and memoirs of eminent printers. In the Appendix is a list of the principal vignettes or marks, monograms, and devices used by the ancient printers; and Hansard borrowed these illustrations for his 'Typographia."
