HARD BACK. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. Vellum cover, with gold stamped spine, many copperplate engravings. Also includes "Plebian Politics. The Principals and Practices of certain Meleeyed Maniacs." Ex Library, so has bokplate, and various stamps throughout, a taped library code on spine has removed some of the gold decoration.

Condizione: Very Good. Two volumes in one: pp 226 The miscellaneous Works of Tim Bobbin and pp 84 Plebeian Politics. These satirical works by the 'Lancashire Hogarth' John Collier are in very good condition in straight grain calf, spine rebacked, inner hinges reinforced. Hardback. Condizione: G++. Condizione sovraccoperta: No DW. The text commences with a portrait frontispiece then title page. Pages 1-240 but 141-4 are used twice. There are an additional 16 bw plates. (Not known if they are complete since there is no list). Ink note on page 112. Fairly clean tight text but with some fairly noticeable spotting in places. In a likely contemporary half leather and marbled boards binding. Spine decorated in gold with a burgundy title label stating simply TIM BOBBIN. Spine presents very well.

Spine backstrip is missing large pieces from the ends. Only fragments of spine label remain. Covers have staining to the lower margins, heavy wear to the outer corners, and slight edge wear. Pages adjacent to the plates are browned. ; Contents include ".also his poem of The Flying Dragon and the Man of Heaton. Together with other whimsical amusements, in prose and verse. To which is added, A Life of the Author, by Richard Townley, Esq.".
