Ashim Dutta has a Doctorate in chemistry with specialization in Agrochemical Formulations, Specialty chemicals (Surfactants & Polymers), Home and Personal Care product chemicals, Product Design and Manufacture. He has worked in International R&D Institutions in USA, Canada, Europe and Japan. He has twenty eight years of experience in Academic and Industrial Research with 36 International publications, 2 Book Chapters, 24 Patents. He is Editor of 3 books and author of one book. He has worked with FMCG major Unilever as Senior Research Scientist (2000-2003), Senior Product Development Manager in Home and Personal Care (2004-2007), as Head of Global Formulations for United Phosphorus Limited (2007- 2015), as Vice President (VP-R&D) with India Glycols Limited, a surfactant and specialty chemicals manufacturing company - the largest “Green” surfactant manufacturer worldwide between 2015-2018 and presently, as Head of Global Formulations R&D at PI Industries (2018-Present). He has led conceptualization to product commercialization for 35+ products worldwide in various companies.
