Caesar Brunswick's sophomore release Things Found in my Father's Closet, revisits the characters of his award-winning debut novel Journeys of a Tortured Soul, twenty years later. Journeys' protagonist Arthur Wilson, now an accomplished, world-renowned composer and orchestra conductor, is the toast of cultural society and is selected by his undergraduate alma mater, Fennimore State University, to receive the distinction of having a new performing arts theater named in his honor. In hopes of fending off unwanted questions from reporters and classmates regarding his personal life, Wilson decides to invite his former college sweetheart Stephanie to accompany him to the ribbon cutting ceremony, scheduled one day prior to the reunion.Wilson's newest nemesis, the diabolical power-monger Monique, schedules her daughter Stephanie's wedding to surgeon Rodney Wilson, Arthur's son, for the same date and the struggle for power and control begins. This entertaining piece is filled with many unforeseen outcomes, surprising revelations and an ending that is both shocking and unexpected. Brunswick's second installment in the Journeys saga is an exciting read.
Informazioni sull?autore: Georgia native Caesar Brunswick, a classically trained orchestral and choral musician, poet and former educator, holds degrees in education from Fayetteville State University and University of Colorado. Inspired by the earlier works of author E. Lynn Harris, Brunswick abandoned a successful career in five-star Hospitality Management to pursue his passion for writing. Author of the award-winning debut novel, Journeys of a Tortured Soul and its sequels Things Found in my Father's Closet and …and let the Choir say Amen!, Brunswick finds his niche in works addressing the family issues of African-Americans. Making his home in a Metro-Atlanta suburb, Brunswick spends his spare time composing music, traveling and performing with Atlanta area vocal ensembles, community bands, brass choirs and orchestras. To learn more about Caesar, visit his web-site: www.caesarbrunswick.com
