The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild wear with sunning to the spine and some discoloration towards the bottom of the rear board. The binding of the book is…good and sound. There is a nice vintage hunting & fishing themed bookplate adhered to the front pastedown. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly nice and clean with just the occasional light bit of foxing or minor spot of grubbiness. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, other minor stain or marking, etc. The book measures approximately 9 inches by 5 3/4 inches and is 228 pages long with some nice black and white plates illustrated by Archibald Thorburn. Boards with bumped corners and a few shallow bumps on bottom edge of front and rear; ends of spine lightly crushed. Previous owner's name (dated 1923) on front pastedown; endpapers toned; otherwise pages clean. Binding firm except for crack just starting in gutter in one place.
