From now on a new expedition is planned. During the first campaign, a general investigation was undertaken by Professor Griaule, partially, and by J.P. Lebeuf; the archaeological excavations, which affected forty-four deposits surveyed or partially exploited, were accompanied by investigations belonging to both extensive and intensive ethnology and history." - translated from introduction.
