La vision constructiviste, si particulière à l'artiste peut être admirée, à travers ses portraits ou ses photographies d'architectures et de machines o…ù l'on retrouve les diagonales, les formes abstraites and les objets en mouvement dans l'espace. " (…) Un nouveau combat se livre sous nos yeux : celui de la photographie pure contre la photographie appliquée, de la photographie d'art contre le photoreportage. (.) Il faut prendre plusieurs clichés du même sujet et le montrer sous des positions et des angles différents comme si l'on tournait autour et non comme si on l'épiait à travers un trou de serrure. Ce ne sont pas des photos tableaux dont nous avons besoin mais d'instantanés à valeur documentaire. Je résume : pour apprendre au public à voir selon de nouveaux points de vue, il est nécessaire de photographier les sujets qui lui sont familiers selon des angles et des points de vue inattendus et de photographier des sujets plus neufs sous une multitude de points de vue afin d'en donner une représentation totale. (.) Et les points de vue les plus intéressants pour le photographe contemporain sont ceux de " haut en bas " et de " bas en haut " et leurs diagonales. Der andere Band zeigt die Fotografien des zur Entstehungszeit nicht veröffentlichten Buches. Der rote Balken tritt hier auf der Rückseite mehrerer Fototafeln wieder in Erscheinung.
