We bought several copies of this book some years ago from the widow of someone who bought up books to sell when he retired. Unfortunately he did not manage to do this. We think he bought these when they were sold off either as remainders or as transit damaged items as there is bumping of corners to some of them. I am giving this information to explain why we are listing a number of copies but also to point out that these are unread having been in storage since 1952; either the publisher's warehouse, the first bookseller's shop, the home of the would-be bookseller, and lastly in our bookroom. As a result the internal condition of the books is exceptionally clean for a book which is 60 years old. This is a higher cost book, heavier than normal book (1.4 kilos with packing) which will incur extra costs for postage and insurance.
