It begins by detailing the events leading up to his election, the various factions within the Catholic Church, and the political landscape of Europe at the time. The author then analyzes Clement XIII's papacy, focusing on his efforts to maintain the temporal power of the Church, his attempts at reforming the clergy, and his diplomatic initiatives. The book also examines the cultural and intellectual currents of the 18th century, as well as the impact of the Enlightenment on the Catholic Church. Through a close examination of primary sources, the author provides a nuanced and comprehensive portrait of Clement XIII, his papacy, and the complex world in which he lived. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Aggiungi al carrellosenza rilegatura. Condizione: in ottime condizioni.
