DJ has light yellow background to front and spine, border of tiny red swastikas and color illustration ship on front, list of Kipling books with row of black swastikas between titles. DJ has small chips, tears and wear to all edges and tips. Poor DJ/Fine book.

Red boards, picture of elephant carring people to front & man in a bush-hat to spine, spine is slightly lighter than boards. Some wear to spine-ends & corners which are starting to fray, page edges a little darkened with some foxing, beige end-papers a litle darkened, ink inscription to flyleaf dated 1942, but book looks c.1920's. Attractive b/w plates. Some light foxing and one or two finger marks to page-margins, but generally clean. Nice condition.
