Deutschland, Österreich, Bulgarien, Ungarn und die Türkei waren ausgeschlossen. Sowjetrussland lehnte die Einladung ab. Ethelda Bleibtrey aus den USA gewann alle drei Schwimmwettbewerbe der Frauen. Ältester Medaillengewinner aller Zeiten wurde der schwedische Schütze Oscar Swahn im Alter von 72 Jahren und 279 Tagen. Der finnische Läufer Paavo Nurmi errang drei Olympiasiege und gewann eine Silbermedaille.-Das hier vorliegende, sehr seltene Werk ist zunächst von Erik Bergvall in Schweden publiziert worden. Rudolph Ritto und Steen Laurits übernahmen die Übersetzung in das Dänische. Einband berieben und bestoßen. Eigentumsvermerk von alter Hand auf dem fligenden Vorsatz (Datum: 14. Oktober 1921).
