Bernat Klein CBE was a Serbian textile designer and painter. Based in Scotland, Klein supplied textiles to haute couture designers in the 1960s and 1970s, and later sold his own clothing collections. This work is part autobiography, part philosophy. Inscribed by previous owner. Dust jacket is scuffed at edges and worn around spine. However it is intact and functional. Price tagged. Hardcover has light shelfwear and lower right front corner is creased. Interior complete, unmarked except for the inscription, and well-bound. Text block is lightly soiled and foxed; decorative endpages are clean and bright. Edges to boards are tanned with light wear to extremities; front board slightly bowed; corners are bumped. Binding is tight and square.
