Willem Bodeman félicite son correspondant pour la vente d'un de ses tableaux, en Russie, pour la somme de 300 francs mais ajoute : "le prix n'est pas trop favorable, mais j'approuve ce que vous avez fait, vu qu'il y avait dans ce tableau des parties q…ui n'étaient pas trop heureux". Il entend qu'à l'avenir, ses prix soient respectés et voudrait qu'un second tableau soit vendu en Russie. Bodeman souhaite placer un tableau "à la commission de l'exposition à Anvers", toujours au prix qu'il souhaite, etc. Peintre de paysage hollandais.
