Dieser Band ist die erste Edition von 55 Briefen des englischen Griechenfreundes, Staatsbeamten, Finanz-, Innen- und Kriegsministers Sir George Cornewall Lewis (1806-1863) an den großen Göttinger Gräzisten Karl Otfried Müller (1797-1840).
