Guter Zustand.Carl Wilhelm Weisbrod (1743 Stuttgart - um 1806 Verden). Deutscher Zeichner und Radierer. Sohn des Johann Philipp Weisbrod und Bruder des Friedrich Christoph Weisbrod. Schüler von Johann Georg Wille in Paris. Siedelte um 1780 nach Hamburg über, wo er bis 1800 im Hause der Gräfin Bentinck lebte. Weisbrod arbeitete mit Robert Daudet, François Jacques Dequevauvillier und Jacque Philippe Le Bas zusammen, die seine Platten vollendeten.Jan Brueghel d.Ä. (1568 Brüssel - 1625 Antwerpen). Flämischer Maler. Sohn des Pieter Brueghel des Älteren. Einen ersten Unterricht erhielt er von seiner Großmutter, der Miniaturmalerin Marie de Bessemers, bekannt als Mayken Verhulst. Später war er wohl Schüler von Pieter Goetkint und Gillis van Coninxloo. Ab 1590 ist Brueghel in Italien unterwegs. 15951596 ist er in Diensten des Kardinals Federigo Borromeo. 1597 wurde Brueghel in die Antwerpener Sint-Lucasgilde aufgenommen. Zu deren Dekan er 1601/1602 ernannt wurde. 1604 hielt Brueghel sich am Hofe Rudolph II. auf. Später wurde er mehrfach für den Brüsseler Hof tätig. 1610 wurde er zum Hofmaler ernannt. Brueghel war Mitglied, ab 1609 Dekan der Gesellschaft der Romanisten, der auch der befreundete Peter Paul Rubens angehörte. Zu seinen Kunden zählte Friedrich Heinrich von Oranien, der polnische König Sigismund III. und andere deutsche und österreichische Fürsten. 14,1 x 21,6 cm (Darstellung), 19,3 x 24,5 cm (Platte), 29 x 43 cm (Blatt).
