Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. End-papers are more notably tanned. Previous owner's inscription and pencil ma…rk to front free end-paper. Text block edge is moderately foxed. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with fraying cloth and small splits. Gilt lettering has become dull. Book has a slight forward lean.
