Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. Octavo. 40pp. Eric Gill's six finely executed wood engravings echo the gentle wit of his sister's poems. This was their second collaboration for the Golden Cockerel Press; and despite Gill's "sparkling and imaginative" engravings, Clay's "satisfying" verse, and "excellent" production values, the book did not meet the same critical acclaim as Sonnets and Verses. This copy features a full green morocco binding by Alfred Seth, featuring a stylized planetary motif tooled in black and gilt, and with a black only with gilt-tooled stars on the upper cover; title in gilt on spine. T.e.g. Although not much is known about Seth, the overall design conceit employed here contains echoes of Edgar Mansfield. A fine copy, housed in a green cloth folding case. (Cave & Manson 101). One of 300 copies signed by the author and artist.
