Besides a company history, the book shows the range of designs, generally ornate, of the company's pianos, along with photos of its piano's in a broad multitude of settings -- concert halls, ships, homes, grand and more modest, etc. etc. Also many pages devoted to the virtuosi, and some other celebrities, who play on Bechstein. Condition: Wraps with a light film of dirt slightly darkening the manila background color, yet the printed illustration of a concert hall performance still vivid and could almost pass as a watercolor applied directly onto the card. Closed tearing by front joint, and a chip on the spine paper pastedown. Light soil on first two leaves, after which the pages, mostly of a glossy paper stock are clean.…
