The editor Mark Rayport was a colleague of Davidoff at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as was the recipient Alan Rothballer. Rayport and Rothballer had previously been together at the Montreal Neurological Institute, where Rayport was Wilder Penfield's last resident.
