Blätter ( Lebensbeschreibung Luthers / Inhalt / Register ), 1181 Seiten ( Altes und Neues Testament ), 11 n.n. Blätter ( Register, Glaubensbekenntnis, Augsburgische Confession ). Mit 6 ganzseitigen Kupferstichen ( von 7? ) incl. der Frontispizkupfer und mit sehr zahlreichen Textholzschnitten. Blindgeprägter Original-Ganzleder mit Schließenresten und 4 Eckbeschlägen auf dem Vorderdeckel, Folio ( 38 x 26 cm ). Der Einband ist berieben, Ecken und Kanten sind bestoßen, die Schließen fehlen, die Eckbeschläge des Rückdeckels fehlen. Innen mit altem Besitzvermerk auf dem vorderen Vorsatzblatt *Johann Gottlieb Lachmund aus Ober Peilau ( = Schlesien ), Anno 1780*. Weitere Vermerke leider unleserlich. Die großen Kupfertafeln am Außenrand stärker gebräunt, etwas fleckig und stockfleckig. Seiten teils etwas fleckig und stock- bzw. fingerfleckig sowie am Außenrand teils mit kleinen Randläsionen ( teils in alter Zeit restauriert bzw. hinterlegt ). Seite 278 wohl durch Rotwein rötliich verfärbt, Seiten 544-534 zum Unterrand beschädigt mit Textverlust. Wenige Seiten sind gering beschädigt, wenige Seiten sind gering wurmstichig. Im Neuen Testament sind wenige Seiten stärker wasserrandig. Das hintere unbedruckte Vorsatzblatt fehlt, der Rückdeckeln innen wiederum mit altem Besitzvermerk von Lachmund. Der untere linke Eckbeschlag des Vorderdeckels ist lose. Die Eckbeschläge des Rückdeckels fehlen. Der schmale Einbandrücken ist fachgerecht mit schwarzem Leder restauriert worden. Inside with old ownership note on the front flyleaf *Johann Gottlieb Lachmund aus Ober Peilau ( = Silesia ), Anno 1780*.Further annotations unfortunately illegible. The large copper plates more heavily browned in the outer margin, somewhat stained and foxed. Some pages somewhat stained and foxed or fingerstained and some with small marginal lesions in the outer margin (some restored or backed in old times). Page 278 probably reddish discolored due to red wine (?), pages 544-534 damaged to lower margin with loss of text. A few pages are slightly damaged, a few pages are slightly worm-eaten. The rear blank flyleaf is missing, some pages from the New Testament are more waterstained, Inside of the back cover again with an old ownership note by Lachmund. The corner mounts of the back cover are missing. The narrow spine has been professionally restored with black leather.
