His two-volume report in 1822 - 1823 generated considerable controversy, and has been considered as the major issue for the future development of the Australian colonies. The ISBN 0855610271 applies to the 2-volume set: Volume 1: The Oral Evidence [and] Volume 2: The Written Evidence. Upon opening the book, one discovers the bright blue marbled endpapers by Einen Miura, and inside will be found seven wood engravings by John DePol, each section with a "chapter headpiece" of a gilt abstract design. The contributors to this book include some of the most talented: authored by Bernard C.
