Aggiungi al carrelloDecorative Boards. Condizione: Very Good. First Edition. Only one leisure sport is practised by millions of people, yet it has no fan clubs, no huge money-making gates, no fortune-sized transfers, and no hooligan mobs. It is our sport of fishing. Best practised purely for pleasure and relaxation, although there is a competitive side which lies in the world of the matchman. This, though, is but a small part of the sport, which includes the great salmon rivers, the quiet beauty of the estuary, the flashing, tumbling highland stream, the lowland, meandering peace of the plains river. Stillwaters, too, some vast man-made reservoirs, other lakes left by retreating glaciers of the last Ice Age, some perhaps monastery fish-larders or tiny farm ponds - all of them, whether they hold a few tiddlers or record-breaking carp, are the province of the sportfisherman. Illustrated. Illustrated laminated boards. Tiny pen mark to inside cover.
