An beiden Brettern sind jeweils vier Messing…knöpfe angebracht, die ebenfalls getragen sind. Von der Rückseite: „Originaleinband der Verlagsbuchhandlung von Morila Schauenburg in Lahr." Risse in beiden Brettern, wobei sich die hinteren Bretter bis zum Gurtband lösen. Rote Seitenkanten mit Flecken und Gebrauchsspuren. Von den Vordertafeln: „Gaudeamus Igitur Juvenes Dum Summus!" Angegebene 51. Auflage. Das Copyright-Datum ist eine Vermutung meinerseits, da die 50. Auflage aus dem Jahr 1958 stammt. Die Seiten sind verschmiert.
