According to the author, marriage frequently ensues! Dubois, writer, who urged by publishers, Thomas Hood (1759?-1811) and his partner Sharpe, produced a satirical pamphlet entitled My pocket-book, or, Hints for a 'ryghte merrie and conceitede tour', in quarto, to be called, 'The stranger in Ireland' (1805). This was an effective satire of the travel literature of Sir John Carr, and quickly passed through two editions. See ODNB for a full Bio.
