Ä. Er verbrachte den Großteil seiner Karriere in München als Leiter der Abteilung für Sprach- und Stimmkranke an der Universitätsklinik für Hals-Nasen-Ohrenkranke. Er übte durch seine wissenschaftlichen Tätigkeiten u. seine Lehrtätigkeit einen entscheidenden Einfluss auf die Entwicklung und Verbreitung der Sprach- und Stimmheilkunde in Deutschland aus. Er war einer der Gründer der deutschen Gesellschaft für Sprach- und Stimmheilkunde.
