Foxing/toning to text bl…ock edges and several initial and rear leaves; occasional light foxing spots to interior pages which overall remain clean. Binding is firm. A very good- copy in a very good- dust jacket. Pages 258-303 feature a facsimile of Jack Thorp's 1908 edition with the book's extensive text being general commentary and music for each song with sources for individual bibliographies, texts of variations, recording and manuscript lists, a cowboy word and phrase lexicon, etc.
