Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Fine. 1st Edition. Gorgeous and authoritative volume one in this astonishing series. Fine unmarked book, no owner names, no annotations; and it is inside a perfect unclipped jacket, which is now protected. The book feels as good as new, the binding is firm and it looks unread. Despite being a 1980 issue this is the BEST edition to go for because it has extensive additions and corrections.

Soft cover. Condizione: New. 2nd Edition. A superb copy of the first printing of this REVISED Second Edition. I know, this sounds a bit contradictory; but such was the success of the First Edition it was decided to issue this revised version. It has a stunning extra section showing how the celebrated first printing was developed. It's therefore the edition to collect. New and unread first printing of this superb second edition. The great Dave McKean has arguably excelled himself with this wonderful book. He should be given a retrospective instead of all the over familiar 'artists' who keep circulating around the world's auction houses and galleries. McKean is so far ignored by the art establishment, like so many others who can actually draw and paint and use their skills and imagination ; instead of merely conforming to a the establishment crap that subverts sensibility. McKean, Dave (illustratore).

This followed the 4th Impression of the first edition 1944. Edited with an Introduction by Theodore Spencer, and with CRITICALLY important additional material. The Foreword is by John J. Slocum and Herbert Cahoon, who were Joyce's bibliographers. This has not been rescued from a library, so there are no marks in the text block. The clean and tight binding is in green cloth covered boards. The superb illustration on the jacket's cover is by ROBIN JACQUES. The inside flap of the jacket's dustwrapper is price clipped. No former owner marks.

Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. 2nd Edition. Just for a change; here is the best version of this wonderful collection. Normally one seeks out the First Edition. But this is the FIRST REVISED edition, and it has more wonderful work than the original 1916 edition. Anyone who seeks this artist's work will want this. Faults? Well, the illustrated board covers are chipped and worn, but that's pretty usual in a book this old. Beautifully reproduced work. Printed on decent high quality art paper, too.
