Le 22 mars 1831". Etat très satisfaisant (piqûres de vers à un mors en tête, bon exemplaire par ailleurs) Langue: Latin.

Mit der gedruckten Widmung Daniel Elzevirs für "Philippo Ottoni ab Herzelles", den Kurmainzischen Geheimen Rat und Diplomaten Philipp Otto von Herzell[es], der 1661/ 62 als Bevollmächtigter in Frankfurt und zuvor, in den Jahren 1657 - 1660 , als Gesandter des Rheinbundes in Den Haag bei der "Föderation Belgischer Provinzen", den General-Staaten (Vereinigte Niederlande), tätig war. Ein Zweig der Familie nannte sich auch Van Herzeele. Provenienz: Kaufmann, Zeller, Weddigen Mit Bleistift auf dem vorderen Innendeckel "Dr. Alex Kaufmann" und "von Zeller" notiert, sowie das Exlibris Weddigens. Auf dem hinteren Innendeckel alt mit Tinte "3120" notiert. Claude Saumaise (Claudius Salmasius 1588-1653) was Franse filoloog en classicus met diepgaande kennis van Latijn, Grieks en Hebreeuws. In 1631 werd hij hoogleraar klassieke talen van de Universiteit Leiden waar hij Joseph Scaliger opvolgde.
