The book has clean covers, some wrinkling to rear cover cloth, old owner bookplate on front pastedown, contemporary newspaper clipping (good paper that isn't browned) reviewing the book pasted to rear endpages, handwritten extract from an obscure journal by Forbes on related glacier theory (5 manuscript pages) tpped-in at end after the book advertisement pages replacing the last 5 leaves of ads, no other owner marks or writing on pages, no foxing, solid binding. The book measures 225mm tall x 150mm, and has 216 pages + 54 (of 65) pages of book ads. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
