Aus dem Inhalt: Das Harnisch Musterbuch des Augsburger Malers und Graphikers Jörg T. Sorg aus der Zeit von 1548-1563. Sorg versah Harnische mit prunkvollem geätzten Dekor, wie es vor ihm so berühmte Künstler wie Hopfer, Burgkmair und Holbein getan hatten.Jörg T.Sorg begann seine Tätigkeit 1548 zum günstigsten Zeitpunkt, als sich die Arsitokratie des habsburgischen Weltreiches nach dem Sieg Kaiser Karl V. über die evangelische Union auf dem Reichstag von Augsburg traf. Die Fülle der damals getätigten Aufträge führte zu einer letzten Blüte der Plattnerkunst um die Mitte des 16.Jahrhunderts.
