Chandler's second performance as Cochise, following "Broken Arrow" (1950). From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. A gang kidnaps Johnny and hires him to carry out an assassination, so impressed by his on-screen adventures. He refuses and escapes back to civilization, but not before singing a few songs and romancing a harem girl or two. Set in the Middle East, shot on the original set of the 1927 Cecil B.
