Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book explores the topic of moral disease, drawing connections to medical pathology. The author argues that, just as the body can become ill, so too can the moral nature of humans. Starting from the root of moral distinctions between right and wrong, the book examines the ways in which humans can develop moral illness, beginning with sensual desires and moving to emotional and intellectual failings. Later chapters turn to the prevention and treatment of moral decline, emphasizing personal hygiene through the cultivation of strength, purity, honesty, and unselfishness. The book concludes with a discussion of the need for a healthy moral environment, helping to protect individuals from exposure to bad examples. The book's analysis of the causes and consequences of moral illness provides valuable insights into the nature of morality and the importance of maintaining moral health.
