Die Aufnahme erfolgte von einem etwas tiefer gelegenen Punkte wie das größere Blatt "Graz von Norden gesehen" (Celedin Nr. 874). Im Vordergrund ein Weg mit eine Spaziergängerpaar. Links ist das…Karmelitinnenkloster zu sehen. Die Bildmitte wird von der Nordostseite des Schlossberges dominiert. Links davon zieht sich die Stadt und das Grazerfeld bis zum Wildoner Berg. Rechts des Schloßberges ist die Murvorstadt bis nach Eggenberg, Wetzelsdorf (mit Johann und Paul) und Straßgang zu sehen. Den Horizont bilden die Berge von Pachern im Süden bis zur Koralpe im Westen.
