Designed and printed by David Esslemont, there were problems with the binding which caused a 6 month delay however in 1990 was selected for the British Book Design and Production Exhibition and was chosen as the category winner. It is a fairly rare book, but is not unfortunately very valuable.".

Wood-engraved shield hand-coloured in blue, grey and red, 9 wood engravings by H.W.Bray and a large opening wood-engraved initial in red. Brown buckram with bevelled edges, Herbert arms block…ed in gilt on upper cover, gilt spine titling, t.e.g.,others uncut. Unsightly dark stain on the upper cover, otherwise a very good copy.
