Diese hier eingehend beschriebene weibliche tibetische Göttin Vajravarahi - (tib.: Dorje Phagmo) ist eine besondere Form der der Vajrayogini, die in der Kagyü-Schule von Bedeutung ist. Sie wird meist wie Vajrayogini mit roter Hautfarbe und gleichen Attributen dargestellt. Sie trägt aber - und wohl nur sie - zusätzlich und als eindeutiges Erkennungsmerkmal auf ihrer mit Schädeln geschmückten Krone oben oder auch seitlich als ein Symbol für die Überwindung der Verblendung/Unwissen?" den Kopf einer Bache.
