Ada Harrison (1899 - 1958) studied modern and medieval literature at Newnham College, Cambridge, 1918-1921. In Autumn 1924 she published her first book, Some Tuscan Cities. In July of 1924 she married the artist Robert Austin RA (1895 - 1973), whom she had met earlier in Italy, and they returned to England in 1926. She collaborated with her husband on several of her books, with Austin providing the illustrations. RightWayUp Books aims to provide accurate and detailed descriptions.
