No writing, minor shelfwear to the cover edges and corners, a bit of black residue at the bottom of the covers from a previous dustjacket mylar. Unclipped jacket is good but with wear and shor tears around the top of the spine and a longer tear at the bottom of the front panel, some scuffing and soil to the black panels. 104 pp., color and black and white plates - mostly tipped in. Better known for his novels, Lawrence had a lifelong interest in painting, and his exhibitions often brought controversy.

Scott, Alice Smith, and Amy Smith from 1907-09. In 1911 he was hired by Vogue and continued to supply illustrations and cover designs for the magazine until 1936.
