A vehicle to promote the band Herman's Hermits in much the same vein as The Beatles in Richard Lester's 1965 "A Hard Day's Night," and 1966 "Help." British pop rock band Herman's Hermits tour the US and are chosen as the "good luck name" of the next Gemini space capsule. Yellow titled wrappers, rubber-stamped copy No. 73, dated August 30, 1965, with credits for screenwriter James B. Gordon. [Pop Concert Programmes] ORIGINAL PROGRAMMES AND TICKETS. Twelve individual programmes of varying sizes (27 x 21cm to 21 x 13cm). Programmes all stapled with colour paper covers. One programme signed by each member of the Four Pennies in blue ink. Two programmes including original tickets. Most feature light handling, with some heavier rubbing to two or three, and ink notes to one or two. Very good overall. Signed.

A script from the mid-60s CBS era of the Jackie Gleason Show, when it followed a classic variety show format. This is Jackie Gleason's copy with his name written in red on the title page used for the filming of the episode. Pagination is odd 3, 3A - 3I, 10R, 13, 12. Perhaps limited to the pages Gleason needed for his performance. Unclear if complete, but the aged paperclip is sturdily holding the pages together which implies it is at least close to as it was when used for production.
