Det satte sig de værste spor i vandaliseringen af Viborg Domkirke og rundkirken i Bjernede (ikke med her), men blev gennemført i bedste mening. Nu skulle middelalderen genopvækkes. Billeddelen om Viborg dækker storartet både før og efter. Ribe Domkirke fremstår i sin oprindelige form, og aldrig er der lavet smukkere gengivelser af den pragtfulde katedral i Aarhus (endnu med den lille flade tårnhætte fra 1770'erne).
