LATINO Tomo terzo rilegato in tutta pergamena, con evidenti segni del tempo; sei bande rialzate al dorso lasciano intravedere il titolo in oro, ma il dorso è in discreto stato, presentando due forti lacune alle due estremità, e macchioline sparse in tutta la superficie; i piatti muti mostrano segni di matita, molto leggeri, ma presenti; tagli delle pagine puntinati in rosso e ben rifilati; le pagine interne sono totalmente brunite e intaccate da fioritura causata da umidità. Then "Index Secundus" for 72 pages. Then "Index Tertius" for another 60 or so pages. Then "Index Quartus" and "Quintus" for another 200 or so pages. Pages clean and well preserved, well printed. First page has been reinforced at the edges with strips of new paper. Early ownership name on title page and two others on free endpaper. Contains Tiniri's commentary on the whole of the New Testament as well as the minor prophets in the Old; Joel, Amos, Abdias, Jonas and others. Text in Latin. Jacob Tirinius was a Belgian Jesuit scholar. This commentary in two volumes was his best known work. First edition of this 2nd volume. Several nice woodcuts throughout.
