Letters were written to the shopkeepers, the people of Ireland, the Lord Chancellor Midleton, the Houses and Parliament, and more. Written by Jonathan Swift, an Anglo-Irish satirist, author, essayist, political pamphleteer, poet, and Anglican cleric who became Dean of St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. He originally published all of his works under pseudonymsincluding Lemuel Gulliver, Isaac Bickerstaff, and M. B. Drapier. Edited by Herbert John Davis, an English literary scholar and university administrator. In the original black cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities.
