These 168 pages gather the stories of members as they lived on the waters. There are treasure hunters, sealers, military, gold rush, and comm…ercial tales told. Two maps and some b/w photos assist text. There is an INDEX and a list of `shipmates' of the club. Learn about : Oscar Scarf, Alberni Canal, Pribilof Islands, trysail, barque, and sea-otters. Cond : Paper wrapper is red with white lettering. Front cover graphic is from a painting by Hardcastle of the Thermopylae. Volume has very minor edge wear. Bright, tight, square, and clean - i.e. `ship-shape'. No names, marks, creases, nor tears. Excellent west coast history. Quote (p. 77) : " .__._. down the coast near Jedway. It had not been running for a year or two, so I took the tug, a few whites and Paul Kato, the Japanese boss, who was a wizard with carpenter's tools. He was to supervise ._._._. ." Size: 8vo.
