Heute ist es nicht nur für Musikwissenschaftler von Interesse, sondern es bietet auch dem interessierten Laien ein wahres Lesevergnügen. Es ist äußerst spannend und zum Teil auch amüsant, welche Schwerpunkte Kiesewetter in seiner frühen Musikgeschichte setzte.
