Issued in a limited edition of 100 copies, this example is numbered 49. 'Detour to Otherness' collects all of the 16 short stories previously published as paperback originals under the titles 'Bypass to Otherness' (1961) and 'Return to Otherness' (1962), alongside eight additional stories.
