Exhibition catalog for the exhibition held at the University Art Gallery, 20 June to 10 September 1967, documenting recent acquisitions in modern art at the University Art Museum, University of California, Berkeley, under the directorship of Peter Selz. Features biographical essays and catalogue entries for major works acquired during 1966 and 1967, including works by Karel Appel, Moshe Castel, Gordon Onslow-Ford, Hans Hofmann, Fernand Leger, and others, with contributions by twelve scholars and curators.
