A wonderful collection of ten children's short stories, including 'The Magic Garret', 'Ronald's Clock', and 'A Regular Bouncer'. With the 1920s inscription of Elsie F Roots to the verso of the front free endpaper. The work of Mabel Henrietta Spielmann, who authored several children's books, and wrote on the life and works of Charlotte Bronte. In the publisher's original decorative cloth binding, with gilt detailing. Front board exceptionally bright, with mark to rear board. Fading to back strip. Light shelf wear to back strip tail and bump to back strip head. Hinges strained, but firmly held. Inscription to verso of front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
