Binding remains firm. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean.

Binding overall tight and appears little read - minor crack to gutter at half-title, no annotations - 4 word gift inscription to half-title and remains of a postage (?) stamp to reverse of frontispiece; toning and slight spotting to page-ends and endpapers but text, illustrations and maps at endpapers bright and clear throughout.
